Re: Q&A: If you have questions about the forum
I'm here, but I'm so confused as to how to use this forum!
I liked it when I had the messages sent to my e-mail address every week and I could read them in my in-box and then choose to reply or post one of my own
Is there any way that we can have anything like that from here?
There's just too many topics and answers and all happening all at once and i don't even know how to start!

Re: Q&A: If you have questions about the forum
Hi, filmflicka. No, there isn't a an option for receiving all new topics and posts via email here.
There is an option to get a notification via email when someone replies to your own post (You check 'Get notifications when someone replies' in your post box for that), but there is no way to receive all the posts on the board via email.
The most active discussion board is this one, so to keep up it might be easiest just to read this one (General Discussion-Narcissists)rather than try and keep up with all the discussion boards.
Just a few tips on navigating. If there are new posts on threads, you will see 'New' in the left margin. That will signify that there is something on the thread that you haven't yet read. If you don't see 'New' it means that there are no new posts on that thread. If you want to start fresh, you can select "Mark Forum as Read" at the top. That refreshes the "New" function and you will only see the posts that are new from that point forward.
If you want to post your own topic, just hit "Post New Topic" at the top. To keep track of your thread, when you post you can choose that "Get notifications when someone replies" option, and you will be notified via email that you have a reply to your post with a link back to your thread.
Hope this helps.

Chaning my name on forum
Hi, Lynn,
I have tried changing my name by logging out and re-registering.
A msg comes up and says use only these letters and numbers for your login name and the login name I want is disallowed by the forced choice of letters and numbers.
It happened the first time I registered as well.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!

Re: Q&A: If you have questions about the forum
Not sure why this is happening, older, but I will check into this and let you know when I get an answer from runboard support.
Thanks for letting us know.
Hugs,

Thanks, Lynn...
I'm still totally confused. Right now, I don't even know what I'm replying to...
You did answer my question, though.

Re: Q&A: If you have questions about the forum
Hi Dolly. Sticky topics are those that don't get bumped and disappear. They remain stuck at the beginning fo the message boards - usually timely information, welcomes, help pages, - that kind of thing.
