Hi Lynn,
I've been trying to post an avatar too. I followed all the steps you wrote out for TrustGod---I think that was the name, but I keep coming up with a red x where my avatar should be. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

I think you're missing part of the URL, bell. There should be something on the end of the url like:
.jpg (or maybe .gif)
I don't see that in the properties of your pic. I'm guessing it's not showing up because the url isn't quite all there. I would go into your control panel where you entered the url and type the .jpg at the end of it and see if it shows up or go back to photobucket and copy where it says "direct link" under the picture you want. That should give you the complete url.
