Seafood

Fish is such a good source of protein and a healthy choice as well. Please share your favorite seafood recipes on this thread.

Re: Seafood

Phe's Spaghetti Marinara

My invention emoticon its really good, especially if you have access to fresh seafood.

A handfull of seafood mix per person.

Seafood mix,
small pieces of firm white fish
small pieces of salmon
prawns
mussles
sea scallops
calamari (or use baby octapus cut up)

I use an even mix of all this plus whatever else you have locally

Put pasta on first and wait a few minutes...

Cut up an onion and crush 3 cloves of garlic, and begin to cook in an extra creamy butter, when its sizzleing- add 1/2 cup of white wine, and add fish, wait (30 seconds), then calamari rings, wait, then sea scallops and mussels, cook all for a while 2 mins on high heat, and stir through prawns last. Shake the pan, so nothing burns or sticks, while mix sizzles, then add 1/2 cup of thickened cream. Stir cream in, be sure prawns are cooked, and then serve ontop of spaghetti and top with lots of parsley. Add some cracked pepper a glass of sav blanc, and enjoy emoticon

Finish with a bowl of fruit in season, YUM!

The whole meal takes as long to cook as pasta does to boil!!! thats the way I like to cook!
