Weighed in. Still at 179.
Calories might have crept up over 1500, but am still walking 1 hr. a day.

I've wanted to give up, but know I have to keep at it.

268 today. I thought I had lost weight, so this is a bit of a disappointment. Maybe I have gained muscle from all the swimming I have been doing? I hope so!

Hi Dusty,
I used to love swimming, and it did build muscle. Especially in the arms. And it burns calories big time. Keep going with the swimming. Yes, it will probably take a while for the weight loss to show on the scale, but not in your clothes!

For me, I can't enjoy swimming anymore like I used to, because, crazy as it sounds, I get motion sickness swimming laps! I really don't want to take meds for it. So I just walk and ride my bike.

I lost a pound, and at 178 today. A lady at church noticed I looked thinner, and that's so nice to hear. I've been good at not binging at all this week. We're just not buying chips to have around the house now.

Down 4 pounds is great, Dusty!

I'm happy to weigh in at 176. I'm sticking with it.
When we go out to eat, I've been taking 1/2 my meal home from restaurants, at home, avoiding eating at night before I go to bed.

I'll meet some friends at an Indian buffet today. I'm ok with buffets now. I used to eat until I was stuffed "to get my money's worth". Now I just watch other people go back to their seats with huge mountains of food.

3 lbs SF! Way to go!

I am at 263 today. I've really cut back on the beer, that should help immensely. 4 weeks or so and I am back to hockey, and that should make the weight drop off me (or so I hope). The weather has not been great for the past 10 days or so, and I haven't been swimming. I miss it!

Alamobelle,
9 pounds off. You must be feeling more energetic!

Dusty,
Sounds like things are going steady and it's coming off.

I'm at 176 still today. I'm just glad I didn't gain anything. I went to the state fair yesterday, and ate nothing but fried food on a stick. I think walking everywhere was the saving grace, yay walking.

  weight today 188

  goal 130

I wanted to mention that if you havent
had your thyroid checked do so at your next
appointment . Its a simple blood test and
since thyroid regulates metabolism and lots
of other stuff its important you are at the
  right level.

I am hypo ( not enough) ( genetic it runs
in our family 5 out of 7 are hypo) and take daily supplement . $5.00 a month for the rx. It made alot of difference in how I feel.

Hyperthyroid is too much being released
   and that is also treatable
