Simple pleasures

The simplest pleasure that I LOVE to do is free! A nice, warm bubble bath!

I put in epsom salts in the bath along with yummy smelling bubble bath, light candles, put on mellow music, get a book and recline. I love it! I have a bath pillow, too. That little extra touch makes me feel like I'm at a spa.

It's funny because I can't tolerate being in a tub too long because I get too hot. :-) But I enjoy every decadent minute I'm in there.

Felix

I love bubble baths, too, Felix. You know, though, I hadn't thought of adding Epsom Salts. What a great idea and so economical, too. My mom would always use them as a foot soak and I remember using them for that, too, when I was younger and had an ankle injury. Makes sense that they would be relaxing and soothing in a bath.

Hugs,
Lynn

I'm a bath fan, too. I love to feel clean, with fresh, crisp, cotton jeans and t-shirt each day.

My overflow is a sealed one, so I can get the water right up to the top. I have four soap dishes on the go at one time, each with a different soap. One fav-smelling soap at the mo is, ironically-named, coal tar soap.

When I was a kid, everyone seemed to use bath crystals. These were like a sort of salt, about as coarse as a gravel, and they were of different colours and kept in glass jars. Another thing popular at the time was to bath in mustard powder!, ment to be good for aches and pains, etc.

FelixQ, the pillow touch made me smile. I can see from this that baths are truely a pleasure for you.
