Fem,

Grandma Poem Verse #4

Everything my grandma does
is something special made with love.
She takes time to add the extra touch
that says, "I love you very much."

She fixes hurts with a kiss and smile
and tells good stories grandma-style.
It's warm and cozy on her lap
for secret telling or a nap.

And when I say my prayers at night
I ask God to bless and hold her tight.
Cause when it comes to giving hugs
my grandma's arms are filled with love!

Fem, I know about a grandmother's love, I had that as a child, my Nanny, gave me her heart and soul, she used to call me "Her little monkey"

(((((((((((((hugs))))))))))) to you and your family.

Re: "Grandma" femfree

thank you butterflylove.

I had my first chance to see him yesterday. How special to see this new life. My son fussing over the child and his new wife.

He was shwoing me how to wrap up the baby. Fussng over just the right little cap to put on the baby.

Apparently they only provide 4 diapers in the hospitals these days and he had to run off to buy another size as they had newborns and he needed another size. He is always bringing ice water or other goodies for his wife and taking pictures of the baby.

He's so excited he can hardly keep his words straight LOL.

It's just over a week now since he was born and holding him is such a joy for me. He changes every time I see him - growing. He's passed his birth weight now.

I call my son's house and the baby let's out a yell for 'grandma'. So sweet.

Thanks everyone.
