Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

whew...try saying that 5 times fast.

I really liked this movie, and right now at the moment you might be hearing a lot of criticism. Don't trust it. Seriously, folks on IMDB are making this out to be one of the worst films ever. Ever? I get it if you didn't like it and say it's the worst out of the bunch but ever? That really loses your credibility.

Half of the complaints I don't even get. Its like they went to this movie just to nitpick and not even try to enjoy it. Which is what this movie is, very enjoyable and entertaining.

To be honest that's what I want out of Indiana Jones. It's not meant to have Oscar winning material, it's meant to be fun. To have some escapism.

Simply put, if you liked or even loved the first three, then you'll like or love this one too.

The Man in the Hat is Back, and I couldn't be happier.

i'm still debating wether or not to catch it on DVD.

Theater,
no. but maybe dvd.

I tried watching the first and was just bored with it and haven't seen the other two.

but maybe I will getthe Star Wars effect with it. I refused to watch the original Star Wars trilogy, until I saw Ep 1 in 1999.
I now love the whole series.

I would assume the same might just happen here.

Though I do know the ending of KOTCS,
and I wasn't impressed by it but still I might check it out. It might impress when I know the whole story.

Raiders is hard to like if you cant get into it. Temple of Doom, while considered the weakest might be something to watch first. Simply because the overall pace is quicker than Raiders.

Last Crusade is about the same as Temple, just a little bit better. Mainly from the banter between Harrison Ford and Sean Connery.

Raiders is still great, i consider it one of the best action movies but you really do need to like the genre (1930 serial effect) this film is going for to understand it.
