Question

So whats everyone working on? I have started to work on a cups and balls act and I think its coming along really well. Its not your traditional cups and balls routine and hope to show the club here soon. B

Re: Question

I'm dusting off my old close-up routines in preparation for the recurring strolling magic gig that I just landed at Club Heaven.

I really don't do anything truly special for laypeople; just the usual standards. Such as: Crazy Man's Handcuffs, Card Warp & Reality Twister. I just try to create an original presentation of these classic effects and tie them together with a continuing thread throughout.

I also have an alternate set that I use that includes Andy Nyman's "Dice Man," Doug Malloy's "Mental Cube Mystery," and Alan Wakeling's "Loaded Dice." Although I may make this my primary set, as there's another magician, Don Zellner (from Vegas), who's alternating weeks with me.

Re: Question

I just got a set of Fakini's and am working on adding a multiplying billiard ball routine to my street act to coincide with my single loop ball routine. I'm using a topit to ditch the loop ball and then bring one of the Fakinis out to start things up. I need to come up with more than one transition though because when it's hot out I can't be wearing a jacket...raises eyebrows...too much suspicion.

Re: Question

I'm currently working on a borrowed ring to impossible location routine. Still sourcing a few materials, and ironing out a script, but enjoying the heck out of myself so far. emoticon I'll eventually try it out at a club meeting.

Re: Question

As all who attended the meeting know I am working on the cups and balls with no real additional twists.

Thank you to everyone who offered a critique, observation, or idea. They are taken seriously.
