Just for your information Dave.
Simpson didn't remove the moderators, Glitter did.
If you look down the page at Admin, you'll find that Glitter still owns the board. She was also the one who deleted great parts of the board, probably so Simpson didn't find out what she'd been saying about him.
Dave you are behaving like a 2 year old. How can you expect anybody to take you seriously when you behave like this?

I have absolutely no problem with differing view points, however childish threads that state hail the dictator are unhelpful and rude. I too would like this board to work towards a democratically elected mod team and if trade picks up it will.
At the moment nothing new is being posted and read except these arguments.

The problem is Kitty, that there is no indication that there is any will towards moving towards an elected system. Simpson's comment that it is not possible is not true and Kylie and I worked out a process and timetable.
If Glitter had not deleted the moderated area and transferred ownership when she did, we were ready to outline the process and ask for nominations.
One of the real concerns I have is that already we have threads deleted and stopped on the criteria that "the owner does not like them". Up until a few days ago, posts were edited or deleted ONLY if they were offensive and those decisions were made by a group not an individual. Simpson has already started closing and deleting threads based on what he personally wants and that is a real cause for concern.
Based on previous records, what happens when we start getting pro-muslim posts or anti-lecturer posts and you have a single person who may or may not delete based entirely on their subjective opinion on whether these posts are helpful or the kind of posts they want.
At the moment, all criticism of Simpson is being instantly shut down and that should worry everyone here. The last person who did that quite so blatantly was Robert at the NT board.
