You seem to be the only person banging on about this Dave. Your chum Kylie has vamoosed to pastures new, and I've heard nothing from any of the other mods about this at all. So I suspect that there wasn't a consensus about this and/or that most other people couldn't care less.

I think it is really sad that a number of the former moderators (and incidentally the backbone of this community) seem to have left and with them much of the energy and drive for making this board genuinely owned and accountable to the members.

If it makes you happy then I wonder how much of this is about your desire for control rather than the health of this board.

It doesn't make me happy that Kylie has left, not at all. It doesn't make me all that sad either to be honest - this is not real life, and nobody has died.

I suggest a sense of perspective might help here, Dave.

I agree that it's not life and death but we have already lost 2 of the ten most prolific posters this year and I think losing Kylie and Glitter as posters and moderators is a shame.

Credit to you though, you haven't shut down either of the last two threads on here. If you can tolerate open criticism of you and your running of the board then there may be a glimmer of hope for a new dawn :)

I didn't even know what had happened until I read this thread, I still have edit on all posts, but no ability to do that which seems rather strange. If we have lost Kylie that is sad, as I enjoyed my fencing with him.

It all seems such a shame that one person is left to moderate...it was all such fun and now seems much less so...

It isn't one person delilah, there are two, and consifering there are about 10-12 regular posters that's 20% of the reg posters moderating.
