There are plenty of resources in setting up as a nurse entrepreneur at Entreprenurses

So Gavin,
Are any of the resources helping your thinking?

Yes but once it is going you can flog it to the large agency down the road for a vastly inflated figure so that they can get rid of the opposition.

I think it may have been easy money a decade ago but it is hard to make a profit running an agency these days. I think NHS professionals has eaten heavily into their profits.

It's a while since I've done any agency (prefer to keep my days off to myself these days and watch my spending more carefully!) but it seems that booking agency these days has to be an absolute last resort. Even when things are desperate I don't think agency is always agreed. I've known of 1 nurse for 30 patients backed up by 2 unqualifieds recently.
