She knew the regulations when she started, she worked under those regulations for 7 weeks so why the sudden religious claim. I suggest that it is either the idea of making some money for nothing, or another person, probably of a male persuasion, has told her that she shouldn't have bare arms.

The local Imam says it isn't a problem so I don't think she will have achieved anything other than losing her job.
