This ones for Uber!
The Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence (CHRE) said in its annual performance review of the nine bodies it regulates, that all the regulators had effective leadership and managed fitness to practice cases well, 'with the exception of the NMC'.

I can't, I'm not registered any more so I can't stand as a nurse, and as I'm a nurse I can't stand as a lay person. Go figure.

Nope it's not personal. No one can be a lay member if they have been a nurse, and as I didn't bother with the annual nurse tax, I'm not registered anymore, so I am disenfrnachised as far as the nurse managers club is concerned.
