Concern over dirty equipment

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7676985.stm

I've seen bits of equipment get through sterilisation departments where they've been used and not washed properly but still gone through the sterilisation process, packed up and shelved ready to be used again. Disgusting.

Except a lot of trusts do this inhouse - so it has nothing to do with privitisation.

The "in house" sterilisation is done by private companies employed by the trusts, it isn't truly in house in the way that nursing, and medicine is.

I know some are Uber but I think there are still in-house NHS services operating in some trusts.
