I don't disagree with you Simpson that this family have had a huge amount of media attention and I'm sure if it was an uneducated, unemployed couple then this would have received little attention. My point is that I can see where they are coming from and I would go to any lengths necessary to keep this in the public mind. I still think that they made a wrong choice by leaving the children in the apartment that night and I don't think I would have done that but I still feel for them and the pain they are going through. I know of someone whose daughter recently went missing for a few days before she showed up and it was very distressing.

Maybe it's the fact that about 90% of murders are perpetrated by someone known to the victim, or maybe that she was taken after an allegedly forced entry and the other 2 didn't wake up or weren't taken either.
