Just wanting some thoughts/ideas really. I'm doing my nursing DipHE, but with the rising cost of fuel am coming to realise that I'm going to need to work alongside my course (didn't want to have to, cause I live out in the sticks and it's a pain to travel anywhere...but that's another story!)
My timetable is irregular every week and I don't start placement until middle of August.
Apart from Bank work at my trust hospital (which is too far away from me really to justify the travel until I go into placement) can anyone suggest to me any jobs that I might be able to fit in around my course?
Sounds like a dumb question....but I've been racking my brains and can't really come up with much. ALSO, I can't work weekends, which is why I really think I'm going to struggle to find something.
Re: Job alongside diploma?? If you are looking for flexibility have you thought about private cleaning? ( in peoples homes i mean) You can probably get a better hourly rate than on the bank as an HCA and if you find local clients you wont need to travel.
Re: Job alongside diploma?? You may be able to negotiate bar shifts only during the week (depends on supply and demand of bar staff) and bank/agency shifts as a care assistant may also work.
