Holidays

Well here comes the sun...somewhere between the clouds...so looking to holidays again..without any children...so did Tunisia and now fancy something different..like to sightsee as well as lounge by the pool. Also like good food and a nice glass of wine..not with the noisy younger beer swilling gangs but not with the silver haired brigade yet either...tough they are appearing...so anyone got any good ideas or memorable ones to share..please

For good food and wine.... It's gotta be France. It doesn't get any better than that.

You could also try Turkey, The Greek islands, Italy. Anywhere but San Antonio Bay, Magalluf, Ayia Napa, Lagana and Malia. (It seemed quicker to list the places not to go to).

Try taking a rucksac, get the ferry from Piraeus (Athens) and tour the Greek Islands. You can usually get a cheap place to kip wherever you stop.
