Re: Welcome and introductions
Hi, what a good idea. OK then, I am a refugee from another site that closed down and then tried to re open! I have been a nurse for nearly 30 years, and work in central england. Recently made the transition from acute care to be a community nurse. I am into; football, travelling, family and friends. I am a member of the labour party but seriously thinking of leaving. And Ispend too much of my spare time on Nurses Home ( or so my other half tells me)
Small point, why a seperate thread for the moderators??

Re: Welcome and introductions
THought we should have a kind fo here are the mods type thread! Then you can see all about us and a bit of a CV. If it is seperate then we can just leave it so that anyone who visits the site can look us all up.

I think I've probably shared various bits about me on here (& elsewhere), but a summary...
A&E nurse by trade, educationalist by qualification & informaticist by inclination.
Living in a little village near Bristol with wife & four kids, 2 cats & a hamster.
Also a refugee from another site that closed down and then tried to re open! also to be found in a variety of other forums & media on the net (put my first web page up in 1992).
Ageing hippy who doesn't have as much hair anymore.
More info., CV, pics of kids etc from RodSpace
