I was thinking of having fish and chips for me tea, and these bruisers came and told me I had to have snails. What it is to live in a dictatorship.
Seriously, when you think of people living under dictatorial régimes, when I think of people like my father, who as a teenager had to flee for his life and spend 50 years exiled and separated from his family, to see uber using the term "thought police" so glibly is frankly insulting. If there was an EU thoight police uber, you surely wouldn't be allowed to spout your UKIP crap. But you are allowed to, so thank the stars for great institutions like British justice, European laws guaranteeing himan rights and fine institutions like the European Court of Human Rights.
