Message to our New Buddies..... (New Forum and Board Basics) Hey Guys,
In the effort to make the assimilation of the 30+ people from ESPN less shocking for the existing board (30 in a month would be a big month) we have set up this forum.
Now, feel free to post ANYWHERE on the board.
And existing members will also be free to post in this forum.
But, if you can use this forum for your more personal conversations and OT threads, it would be appreciated.
This gives a chance for the old members to get to know the new members without being overwhelmed by wading through thread that make no sense to them....
Now, I assume the need for this forum will go away in a month or so once everyone is comfortable. Of course if you want to keep it, I won't stop ya.....
But remember the bottom line... there are no hard and fast rules about what post goes where......
HOW THE BOARD IS ARRANGED OK, so there are forums for different kinds of threads.
The MOST popular/ active forums are...
Open Forum (OT threads)
Clubhouse (Baseball threads)
look in these 2 first
There are other small forums, but you can figure that out later
There is also the Mule and HF forum which can be used for Mule and HF OT threads.
You can navigate to this forum by using the drop down menu on the top of every page.
Now once Inside the Forum, threads labeled "sticky" with a is always on top
under these sticky threads is the thread with the most recent post
The other thing that can help you is looking to the right and the date and time stamp
hope that helps, and you should ge used to it pretty quick
How do I put a signature on my posts? Click on Control Panel. Click on Change miscellaneous options. On the left side you will find Signature and on the right side you will see a box. That is where you can type in your signature.
Message to our New Buddies..... (New Forum and Board Basics) Merkin thanks for your hospitality :-)

All good Zac, I'm happy to have all of you here and glad that everyone seems to be doing ok!
The Migration is still just a few days old and I'm looking forward to everyone getting comfortable. Then we can start to blend ideas from the new guard and old guard into a board that everyone is happy with =)
