Finding a veteran solution for the vacancies at the corners of their infield, the Angels have reached a tentative 2007 agreement with free agent Shea Hillenbrand.
Hillenbrand's deal, subject to results of a physical, includes a club option for the 2008 season.

ESPN is reporting he will get $6 million in 2007, with the Angels holding the option for $ 6.5 in 2008 or a $ 500,000 buyout.
