Jason pitched 6 out of 7 great innings with 9 K's for the WIN! Kline and Accardo were great out of the pen Kevin Frandsen - gets the award for Best ML First Game for a Rookie by going 3-4, hbp (we'll forgive his hitting into a DP because he's a rookie) Barry Bonds - 2-4, 4 RIBBIES!!!...tied the Babe on the list for extra base hits with a double...and add another Walk'er to the wall... Moises Alou 3-4, 4 RIBBIES!!!..made the Snakes pay with an HR!!! Randy Winn...another excellent game both offensive and defensive...3-4 and couple of great defensive plays... Steve Finley...triples for the 4th time in April Barry Bonds goes 1-2 with a double Pitching staff: too many runs to the Snakeys today... Umps...well, they blew it. Where did we go wrong????   Sounds like it was the bean ball battle that started the Padres bats going or that the Pads were coming off a big win yesterday (as some predicted, we'd be the beneficiaries of their big bats) Let's get this guy a start!! Jason Ellison...yeah...doubles off of Peavy!!! Not much more to say...at least the rally caps got a couple of runs in the ninth. Another on the wall for Bonds... Bummer of the night: Moises going down with a sprained ankle...get well soon! Low class award of the evening goes to the Phillie Phanatic for smashing a Giants helmet!! What a WIMP!!! Lou Seal could take him down in a heartbeat!!! Low class award #2 to Cory Lidle...who died and made this guy spokesman of the year???
