Teh Music Thread
Would anyone be interested in music a exchange program?
I've stagnated recently and I'm in dire need of new music. Perhaps some samplers from one another would pique interest in new bands or something.
Any suggestions? what have you been listening too lately?
Lately I'm listening to Eagles of Death Metal, The Black Keys, Sondre Lerche and various and assorted bands with "The" in the title.

I'm listening to new music by Teh Waterboys and Teh Mekons. Also some Nina Hagen, and Teh Peej. (PJ Harvey) Joy Division's Closer has been reissued with a live disc, so I'm listening to that as well. Can you read Microsoft Excel files? If so, I'll put what's on Teh Pod on a file and send it your way, and if you see anything that strikes your fancy I can burn you some.

One sure way to break out of the musical rut is to use Pandora.com (I know balzac's a big fan). In fact, whilst at work, I run it in the background to whichever channel suits my mood. When I hear something new I like, I bookmark the song and/or artist. Horizons expanded.
I would also be into a hostage swap program.
