100 per cent agreed.

Note to SfromSF-- looking forward to any and all posts from you as always.

And don't worry-- ( and needless to say) -- I am easily entertained.
Throw a picture up of a hot chick, or an extremely ugly one-- and I am happy.

One of each is even better.

Woman, 44, gives birth to her 18th child in Canada
Jul 28, 10:32 PM (ET)

ABBOTSFORD, British Columbia (AP) - A Romanian immigrant has given birth to her 18th child in British Columbia, making her the province's most prolific mother in 20 years.

Proud dad Alexandru Ionce said Saturday that his 44-year-old wife, Livia, gave birth on Tuesday. Their daughter Abigail weighed in at seven pounds, 12 ounces.

"We never planned how many children to have. We just let God guide our lives, you know, because we strongly believe life comes from God and that's the reason we did not stop the life," said Alexandru Ionce.

The couple immigrated to Canada from Romania in 1990 and now live in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Their 17 other children range in age from 20 months to 23 years old.

Ionce said he did not know if the couple would have more children. The family now has 10 girls and eight boys.

"We would have liked a boy to be even," he said. "We thank God all of them are healthy and happy."

Ionce said the family has received calls from Germany, Romania and England, as well as from media outlets across Canada.

Piglet with monkey's face

Villagers were shocked after a monkey-like piglet was born in China.

Image

Curious locals flocked to the home of owner Feng Changlin after news of the piglet spread in Fengzhang village, Xiping township.

"It's hideous. No one will be willing to buy it, and it scares the family to even look at it!" Feng told Oriental Today.

He says the piglet looks just like a monkey, with two thin lips, a small nose and two big eyes. Its rear legs are also much longer than its forelegs, causing it to jump instead of walk.

Feng's wife said the monkey-faced piglet was one of five newborns of a sow which the family had raised for nine years.

"My God, it was so scary. I didn't known what it was. I was really frightened," she said.

"But our son likes to play with it, and he stopped us from getting rid of it. He even feeds it milk."

Neighbours have suggested the couple keep the piglet to see how it looks as it matures.

Monkey from Mars: A Ga. crime lab's museum oddity
Jul 30, 5:26 AM (ET)
By WALTER PUTNAM

DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - Other museums might have more or flashier items to display. But only the mini-museum of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation can boast of possessing such an other-world oddity as the monkey from Mars.

The bureau's state crime lab lobby has its requisite displays on forensic science, including an illegal moonshine still and the microscopic fibers that solved the 1981-82 Atlanta child murders. But tucked away in a glass cylinder are the preserved remains of a monkey that three pranksters passed off as an alien 55 years ago in a UFO hoax that drew headlines worldwide.

At the height of UFO hysteria then sweeping the nation, two young barbers and a butcher took a dead monkey in 1953, lopped off its tail and applied a liberal dose of hair remover and some green coloring to the carcass.

Then they left the primate on an isolated road north of Atlanta in the pre-dawn hours of July 8, 1953, burning a circle into the pavement with a blowtorch before a police officer came around the curve in his patrol car.

"If we had been five minutes earlier, we would have caught 'em in the act," said Sherley Brown, the officer who happened on the scene.

The barbers, Edward Watters and Tom Wilson, and the butcher, Arnold "Buddy" Payne, told the policeman they came upon a red, saucer-shaped object in the road that night. They said several 2-foot-tall creatures were scurrying about and the trio hit one with their pickup before the other creatures jumped back in the saucer and blasted skyward - leaving the highway scorched.

Brown took down the strange account and filed a report at police headquarters before going home.

Soon after his shift ended, he said, "the phone started ringing off the hook."

"They had the Air Force and everybody else trying to find out about it," said Brown, since retired in 1985.

Word of the discovery spread like wildfire.

Just the night before, some Atlanta area residents had reported seeing a large, multicolored object flying in the sky. A veterinarian who examined the corpse said it looked "like something out of this world." A newspaper put out an artist's drawing of the saucer that the men described.

But within hours the monkey business unraveled.

Dr. Herman D. Jones, the founder and director of the GBI lab, and Dr. Marion Hines, an anatomy professor at Emory University, examined the creature that evening and proclaimed it to be a hoax.

"If it came from Mars, they have monkeys on Mars," Hines was quoted as saying in an article at the time by The Associated Press that is set beside the monkey in the appointment-only museum.

Where the men got the monkey is not clear. Watters, Wilson and Payne eventually admitted to the hoax and Watters paid a $40 fine for obstructing a highway.

As for Jones, his name is now on the GBI crime lab as the man who introduced modern forensic science to the state.

Easy come, easy go.

And will the Russians let him wear his Hobbit costume for an extra million?

(I have to admit, it would be a cool ride.. but I wouldn't blow 30 mill on it, not unless I had 600 mill, which obviously, I don't.)

Next space tourist spending bulk of fortune to fly
Jul 30, 3:00 PM (ET)
By MARCIA DUNN

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) - The world's next space tourist says he'll be spending the bulk of his fortune to rocket into orbit this fall. Richard Garriott, a computer game wizard, will fly aboard a Russian Soyuz spacecraft to the international space station.

He spoke about his October trip at a news conference in Houston Wednesday.

The cost of his space adventure is $30 million.

Says Garriott: "To be frank, this price tag is the majority of my wealth."

His father, Owen Garriott, was a NASA astronaut. Richard Garriott will be the first child of an American astronaut to fly into space.

Re: The random krap and bizarre pics thread

today, i will make a half ass attempt at a themed sequence.

this is how it all starts. "i hate using condoms, its so hard to cum with it on." or like we used to say on the ski lift in high school, "using condoms is like trying to take a dip with a glove on." turns out, they serve a good purpose.

Image

then you kid is a facking moron, because you are a facking moron, and it makes others of average intellegence seem brilliant.

Image

at this point, you start to consider your options, and devlop a couple game plans.

Image

alas the backup plan is selected for your specific offspring, and executed to perfection, in a hollywood theme!

Image

then the inner moron inside takes over after learning nothing from the whole experience.

"when she finishes servicing that car, i'm going to make her service me...i'm sure i'll pull out in time..."

Image

this is why there are so many stupid people, because they don't learn from their mistakes.

/end of lesson.
