Teh official Fire Bruce BOTCH-y thread
Starts here.
That guy has done NOTHING to advance the team in the time he's been here and he has no idea how to run a baseball team.
I want him gone and as he and his big head walk out of the doors of at&t park for the last time, I want him carrying Brian Sabean under one arm and Dave Righetti under the other.
If he leaves, his baggage goes with him.
Eff BOTCH-y

He's not exactly helping either. Yea, he's done a great job with the bullpen but look at his lineups. Why is aurillia playing? He has no trade value, no team is ever going to want him ever5, theres no reason why he should be taking away ABs from Bowker or Ortmeier. Is Aurillia going to be on the team next year? NOPE! So theres absolutely no reason why he should be taking away ABs from younger players on a rebuilding team. If he was playing at third, I'd be okay with it, but he's not, so it's definitely not cool with me.
Also, wheres fred lewis? He's our best young hitter but he's sitting because we apparently think we can get something for Randy Winn. Why any team would want to trade for a 8 million dollar OFer with no pop or speed is beyond me. It's even more mind boggling that we actually think we can trade him.

Xellos - I don't wanna sound like a jerk, but if you read my post, I never laid all the blame on his shoulders. I said that he has done nothing to advance the team.
What I am saying is that anyone qualified to sit his fat ass on a bench wearing a baseball uniform could get the Giants to do what BOTCH-y is doing. He's average at best and has no idea how to make players better or how to ensure that they succeed when put into games when it matters. When the guy actually has to make a decision, it's the wrong effing decision. Time and again, he makes the wrong move.
The entire management structure is wrong in San Francisco, starting with a general manager who has no idea what he's doing, spreading down to a manager who has a terrible feel for pitching moves (evidenced by today among others) and falling down to a pitching coach who has done next to nothing with the pitchers he's been given yet somehow still gets a free pass from the people around here. (And don't gimme any crap about Cain or Timmeh because those two guys would be successful if I was the pitching coach, and I can't throw a curve with any sort of accuracy.)
Fact is that this team needs change and it starts with the people in charge.

Good to see that you're a week late and still stupid JDB, you crusty old ****.
You cannot even come up with an original thought. You have to steal my thoughts now.
How sad you have become.
Go away.

But to the man's credit, he had been giving the kids some looks this week. Bowker has had some starts at first and seeing Burriss out there at second last night instead of old man Durham was rather enjoyable.
jdb = Ray Durham. No matter how hard he tries, he's just too old to contribute any longer and would be better served hanging 'em up.
