I had the red sox game on the other night and the announcers were saying they have been having talks about acquiring omar. Lugo already has 11 errors at ss and they don't really want out there anymore.
I think omar would be great fit and maybe we can get back papelbon for him....
Just kidding you HF's, but maybe we could get a somewhat decent prospect or somebody like Del Carmen.
I love omar but it would be nice to get something for him and also to give him a shot to win a championship. He'd be sweet to watch in October.

Not only is Lugo making errors, he's costing the Sox games. He's next on Clememza's list.

Alex Cora is back from injury .. They'll give him a chance before tradig for omar
Cora looks like he's comfortable at the plate for once too so dont expect there to be any miracle trade

It wouldn't be a "miracle trade" as you call it. It's just a rumor but if wouldn't be too hard of a trade to pull off.

I don't think there is any way you could get Lowrie for Omar, he is coming off of a lousy hitting season and now knee surgery.
Baseball America doesn't have any 3B or catchers in their top 10 prospects. However, I would love to get Ryan Kalish (CF) or Oscar Tejada (ss) in return for Omar. Both are very young and years away, but I would love to get them. Kalish could replace Rowand eventually in CF and Tejada could end up being a very solid ss. Since the Red Sox have Ellsbury as the future CF and Lowrie probably being the ss of the future, these guys might be expendable.
Oh and I did enjoy the Roberts comment.
