I too would be very sad to see Omar go...but Bonds bless him, if he can be traded to a place where he could win a ring, I will be cheering for that team, no matter who they may be.

Yesterday in Sabean's KNBR interview with Tom and that loudmouth piece of **** sidekick of his, Sabean said that the "rumors" of Omar going to Boston because Lugo is scuffling are all a bunch of crap.
That being said, if Boston upped its offer to the point that Sabes had to listen, even I would pull for the Red Sux. And to let y'all know the extent of my hatred for all things Boston, the ONLY other team I hate as much as the Sux are the Bums, and if the Bums and the Sux ever met in a World Series, I would be in one of those positions where I would have to pull for no winner or just pretend that the World Series did not exist.

I agree with Balzac and believe that the was the reason they resigned him.
I also agree with Cam; if Boston offers enough you have to take it.

I heard the show as well. When he said that, my first thought was, "No. You don't have to come right out and say that you have no talent, but you should at least be honest.
Using the word 'contend' in any form when speaking of the 2008 Giants is a sure sign of lunacy.
The Giants are a legit 2 years away from being even close to contention. Saying that you believe a team on pace for 95 losses could contend is proof that you have o concept of reality.

Agreed...but my over/under bet is going to be a lot closer than I figured. Either they have played over their heads, or they aren't as bad as I thought.
I definitely didn't think Rowand would hit this well, nor Benji without the constant ducks on base due to the Bonds walks.
