Just got back in.
On KNBR while driving home I heard AJ wing one into CF on the Lewis steal.
Also heard the Giants strand runners at third twice now.
Sanchez seems to be pitching pretty well so far.

Re: …
terrible so far on the SH.
With this offense, Giants need to capitalize nearly everytime.
Captain Obvious statement of the year---->Never is not going to cut it.

Fackin Houston gave up 16 runs to Texas today.
Too bad the Giants didn't face Chacon
He gave up 8 in 3.1 and Villareal gave up 6 in the eighth

Durty did a nice job not giving in to Quentin and then pitched great to Dye to strand AJ at third.
Hope he can keep it up for a couple more innings.
Maybe the Giants can score a run by then.

It would be nice not to give Sanchez the Matt Cain treatment...

Re: Teh Fack AJ --Ghost town Gameday thread Fri 5/16
Durty gives up the two run jack, first ever for Ramirez.
Wasn't even a bad pitch. Not great, but not bad at all. The kid just dug it out and hammered it over the cars.
A .136 8th spot batter who came into the game with just 6 hits this season.
What a bummer for Durty and for us.
Ballgame?

Re: …
It's very difficult to win ballgames without scoring a run.
