GAMEBALL and JERK..... 08/25/08 ROCKIES at GIANTS
08/25/08 ROCKIES at GIANTS
GAMEBALL
WINN
Randy's hot hand continues, as he is hitting .395 since the all star break, reprising his INSANE 2005 where he was named player of the month in September…….
Another 3 hits, and the Giants offense looks to be alive……..
and you know the front office has taken notice, and is really liking what Winn is doing not only with the bat, but also covering all that ground in right while navigating the nooks and crannies like a pro…….
Sure his noodle doesn’t measure up to Schierholtz's traditional Right Field rifle……..the prospect of Schierholtz being a failure at the plate and/ or in Right Field will keep Randy in Giants uniform in 2009, unless the Giants are overwhelmed by a trade offer…..and since we are talking about Randy Winn…..you can be sure no one wants him as badly as Brian……..
So keep on hitting Capt Winn, and lets hope the Giants give one of the kids a shot next year, and who knows…..if we are lucky….maybe we can get a 1st rd pick =)
TIP OF THE CAP
BURRISS
Looking more comfortable at the plate……
But looking like a gold glover in the field
I cant remember any Giants 2nd baseman with his defensive package of range, arm, and instincts……..
BULLPEN
Held their own for the most part……Kept the Giants in the game until the end……
ZITO
Hey, who knew……after the guy starts to loosen up…..he starts pitching decent and actually seems like a guy you can have a beer with…….to bad hes not the guy you want the hand the ball to…..
RIGHT CLICK TO SAVE MP3
JERK
ROWAND
The veteran mercenary gamer…..was counted on to be a steadying influence on the defense and offense……..I don’t think anyone expected a repeat of the amazing 2007, which was a career year, in a hitters park, inside a POTENT offence…..
But tonight, with Cain on the mound, with the Kids + Winn setting the table over and over…….Rowand was cast in the 3 hole most likely due to his 6 for 8 ownage of Francis……
But alas, it wasn’t to be as Rowand left runners all over the place, including a bases loaded 1 out situation…….
SMACK OF THE STICK
YORVIT
The other Giants nurtured Venezuelan catcher…. Seems like Veet saves his best for the Giants…..and that’s not entirely false as Veet hits .285 versus the Giants and 250 vs the rest of humanity…..

Great Interview with Zito,
If he doesnt care about the O`s and the commas then he should restructure his contract, so then we can sign timmy to a long term deal
Wilson and Zito shouldn't be allowed to hang out with eachother during the season, I cant image them doing anything positive after midnight

Why do you continue to say stupid things after being told time and time again that you are wrong?
Major League Baseball players ARE NOT ALLOWED to restructure their deals. Period. The MLBPA will not allow it.
This isn't football. Stop being stupid. It is your laziness and complete inability to actually use your brain before posting that causes you to be so hated around here.
