GAMEBALL and JERK..... 09/06/08 PITTSBURGH at GIANTS
Got to say, had more fun at the ballpark in the last few weeks than I had all year…..
If you haven’t been all year, I highly recommend going to the game….
Heck, even if they get blown out of the water you got a bunch of new faces you have never seen before and that in itself is exciting

Although his time as a Giants was shorter than ideal, and he has a past filled with questionable activity…but that don't matter today……..
This guy wasn’t mearly good, he was a bad ass in his day……putting up some sick number year after year in Giants uniform…..
If not for the presence of McCovey and the need for pitching, Cepeda might have played out his career in the Giants uni……but luckily for the Cardinals., he was shipped to St Louis where he followed a Clemente MVP season, with one of his own changing the landscape of baseball.,…..
So For Cha Cha, the original Puerto Rican slugger we present the GAMEBALL

This kid came off the bench like the 6th man in Basketball, injecting instant offense into the situation…….
Gotta love this kid…
Built like Tony Gwynn…the retired for 5 years version…… and swings like Willie McGee….squaring up everything from his shoe tops to behind his head…….I swear one of these days we are going to see this kid get a basehit on a pitch that bounces in front of the plate

I mean, I am all for challenging the kids, and I am not a big believer that rushing kids "ruins them"…..but this is ridiculous……
For sake of argument lets assume his bat is actually Major League ready…..what about his glove????
We all know he was far from polished at Wichita State…..do we suddenly expect him to be a Major League Thirdbaseman????? Dude, that has got to be most intimidating defensive position in the big leagues, with 250 pound sluggers whistling one hoppers at your nuts, and hooking line drives at your head…….I can only imagine the **** thoat goes through a 3rd basemans head when Pujols nails a liner 4 feet to your left only to see the damn thing hook right at your head……catch THAT muther ****er…….
And then there is the situation the Giants have created with the 40 man…..
Sandoval, Espinelli, hell everyone and his brother has made the 40 man…….and now Gilliespie……Hope Sabes is ready to make those hard decisions on the Vets…….
Hell, we better not be protecting Walker, Roberts, and Yabu…..heck even then we will probably have to expose Ochoa, Palmer and some other bit parts…..
