We seem to just have a curse against Yovani.
Hopefully the offense can wake up and give Cainer some Run Support

Wondering....The Giants have played little over 60 games and Sandoval has 9 HRs. Could he be the power that the G's need???? The kid is raking this year. Nice!!!!!!
By 2011 I think we will have two 25 HR guys in the lineup. Panda and Posey. Posey will be up next year but it will take him a season to get comfortable enough to provide that kind of pop.
--- Travis Ishikawa is NOT a competent first baseman.

Re: 6/26 gameday thread Cain-Gallardo
It's safe to say that this road trip is getting off to a scary start.

In other words, against teams that can hit like Mil and STL that can hit, we are going to have to hold our breath and hope our pitching can keep them at bay, because our bats are incappable of keeping up offensively at least on a consistent basis. God, what I would do for one guy who you could count on to provide consistent pop in the middle of the order.

We def. need a power bat at 2B asap. I would say Uggla should be getting a lot of consideration right about now.

Yeah, 2B is an obvious position to upgrade. Burriss, Frandsen and Downs couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat! Uribe is no answer either.
Freddy Sanchez? Uggla? Heck even lesser options like Adam Kennedy and Felipe Lopez would be upgrades.

Ishikawa k's again, he can't hit good pitching. He only hits mediocre pitchers who throw junk right down the middle. We need help at 1B and 2B DEFINATELY. Maybe even OF depending on how Winn/ Schierholtz do the next couple of weeks.
