pablo is a gem


this is the best 3 hitter since jeff kent. 5th in the nl in ave? at 22? ****ing sweet thimgs moving forward if this team could get a hammer. if they had a hammer, this team could go far.

burks was very, very good and I am not sure that Pablo is better than what Burks was the two seasons in SF.

Burks hit 60 HR in 930 AB with a .311 BA and .401 OBP

Pablo could become that good, but it's still too soon to know.

Yup Burks was the best #5 this decade...but only for 1 year, still remember that HR game 1 vs the Mets in 2000.....the only game we won....and sadly his last year in a Giants uni

Yeah, the numbers I posted were end of 98 when he came to SF through end of 2000 combined. He was a beast.

Burks was a good Giant during his stay. Seemed like a good guy and man did he have some power!

That said, Sandoval is becoming one of my favorite Giants

from what I have read, the Giants are keeping an eye on him and have stepped up conditioning.

Funny thing, watching him run the bases, you'd never know he was such a bid guy. He moves pretty well!
