7-0 lead and first pitch FU.
(and he didn't go for the melon, just a nice painful beanball to the tricep, and Fat boy Prince FELT it)

Then he strikes out the side with absolutely DURTY FILTHY stuff.

Payback is a *****.

Suck it Fielder.

Remember that collision. Fielder was pretty pissed when he got nailed. Oh well.

While I enjoyed the beaning, I really don't think it was intentional. Fielder ran him over awhile ago and we didn't retaliate until game 6 between them this year.

Payback for a three year old collision? I hope it was unintentional.

Re: …

Call it what you will-

-Greene payback
-Frustration at losing the starting job
-Dislike of Prince's celebration yesterday
-accidental wild pitch, (followed by 14 filthy strikes and three strikeouts...)

or most of all the above.
But it didn't look accidental to me. Then again, I actually WATCHED the game.. coughcoughbaahkoncoughcough
Whatever the case, it was sweeeet and I enjoyed it.

It may not have looked accidental, but I'm not convinced that Sanchez could purposely hit anything, be it mit or melon.

Of course you aren't convinced
First of all, You didn't watch the game, you never do-- so how could you possibly know how unbelievably sharp he was?
(Other than *actually* paying attention when reading the thread)

Secondly, because it's my thread, you are just trying to be a buttplug and disagree for the sake of disagreement--- duh !

Fail!

And the fued continues. Awesome.

Sanchez was filthy but seeing how it was his first pitch, I am siding with the "accident" approach.

Now if we could continue to bean him that would be nice. Fielder was clearly pissed off after that.

I agree with ninebuck on this one. Whatever it may have been I have a lot of respect for Sanchez and what he did to Fielder. Fielder got what he deserved in general, especially after the way he celebrated yesterday.

Sanchez also dominated today striking out three in one inning. He could have been angry for not getting the start and just tanked it, instead he pitches brilliantly.

Great day for Sanchez...major props!

Yep. I agree
He was definitely looking sharp as hell.

7 run lead, throwing pinpoint smoke, first pitch bean on the one guy who had it coming for a LONG time says it all.
(that really was the first chance the Giants have had -- when being able to afford to do such a thing in the last 3 years vs the ****ing Brewers who have been mostly owning us --forever it seems)

And the look on Durty's face after he beaned him, as well as the way Prince reacted spoke volumes as well.
Now we just need to get AmyG to confirm this for us.
