I've watched most of Timmeh's starts this year. The first part of the season his velocity was down, coming off sickness. Then he wasn't sick, doing alright, but the velocity still wasn't all that great by Timmeh standards. His velocity is still off, but he's rockin'. I guess he's just learning how to pitch and not needing to throw as hard as he "can" ?

manny actually didn't do so well against A ball..check this out:
Manny Ramirez has long been known around baseball as one of the most feared hitters in the game. But through the first five games of his minor league rehab stint, it appears he’s still shaking off the rust.

Playing in his third game with the Inland Empire 66ers — the Dodgers’ high-A ball affiliate, a team he joined following two contests with the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes — Ramirez went 1-for-3 with two strikeouts as the team’s designated hitter and leadoff man.

After legging out an infield single (yes, you read that correctly) in the first inning, Manny went down looking in the second and swinging in the fifth. He was removed from the game — which took place in 91-degree weather in San Bernardino, Calif. — in the bottom of the seventh.

Since returning to professional baseball on June 23, Ramirez has gone 3-for-10 overall with a home run, five strikeouts and three walks. He is expected to be in the Dodgers’ major league lineup on Friday, July 3, the first day he is eligible to return from his 50-game suspension.

Rockies really blew the top of the 10th. 1st and 3rd no outs and then 3 straight Ks. I bet the third base coach wished he sent Spillbourghs on Iannetta's single instead of holding him.

LOL, they struck out three times in a row against Weaver. How is that even possible?
