do you know why???

auction item info is deleted almost immediately after an item is sold?

Oh my gosh..when you go to your sold items or click on the auction id of an item to see what someone left feedback on it says the page does not exist or has been suspended by admin...

now seems to me if a prospective buyer is checking out a seller, it would be beneficial to see what other buyers bought that they"just love"...

I understand that closed or sold items take up space but is there anyway that they can be left
visible for longer than a few minutes/hours?

I sell lots of stuff and it's almost impossible to remember who bought what
without being able to go at least to my sold folder....

I was wondering myself why all of a sudden everything I've sold and bought is gone.

There is a couple of things, I think, I didn't leave feedback on yet that disappeared too.

I really would prefer to be able to look back and see what I've sold and to who etc.

All items that have been deleted from the site by admin are only items that either the seller or buyer delete themselves. Once the buyer/seller deletes, it shows up as a 'marked for deletion' in the control panel. About 3 times a week I will clear all items out.

things that I sold on Monday are already deleted when I went in last night to leave feedback...and I hadn't marked them or messed with them in any way

Maybe the buyer marked as delete? I'll check into it, and see if it was a bug.

Is there anyway to set it up so that the item remains in the list of the person who does not choose to delete it?

That way if we choose to keep a list of our bought and sold items we arent forced to lose them because the other party deleted it from their list.

I believe that's probably another mod I will have to work on. I'll check into this though, and see what I can come up with.

Until then, I'll double check all marked for deletion items and go from there.

Thanks hun. I know how hard you work, sorry to put more on you.

It just would be so much easier to be able to log into OA and see my sales from there then to dig through emails.

I have databases to keep track of what I sell but I dont put all the info about the buyers and such.

If its not possible I can work on a database to keep track of all the info.

I was wondering the same thing too lol thought maybe I had did something wrong lol. I too hope the sales stay in the system for at least 1 month/a few weeks. So other ppl can see what ppl have won/bought.
I think ooak-auction site is awesome!
I was also wondering, is there anyway that the shopping cart feature/when a buyer buys more than 1 item that they can get the correct shipping? I mean, I don't mind sending the invoice, but I dont wanna come off as dishonest. Ya know what I mean? Advertising one thing, espeically discounted shipping then get this huge BLEEP bill LOL! emoticon
