Samhain Night


Samhain Night

When cold winds howl and demons scream
and the moon's in shrouded mist,
when lost souls rise and black hounds cry
and the serpents coil and hiss

With cats and bats and spider webs
the fog's as thick as soup
when witches laugh and gather
and put pumpkins on the stoop.

When tricks are paid with candy
and fairy tales come true,
then unicorns,and frogs and dogs
will tumble into view.

When gobblins roam and ghosts take flight
and dragons spread their wings,
when ghouls and spirits walk the roads
it must be halloween!
