Under A Raven's Wing.....
I wrote this early this year. I know it isn't the time of year for this....But, I have always been the kind of person to do things like this....untimely...random....Isn't life like that sometimes?
PRIMAVERA
Bleeding Hearts and
So much mulch...
Music and the way that I feel.
Guitars and so much snow
that I feel sorrow.
Then the muck that follows.
Bright pinpoints of light
changing hue, exchanging value.
A rush of sound and water
while I reach out for the sound.
Poppies and Morning Glory
Holding the sacred
As sacred still in spite of generations.
I dig, I water, I watch as colors
burn the Iris.
For this, they die;
One life to the next yet a
Slender thread remains
to remind us.
Bury it in the ground,
Breathe into the vortex
Changing ice to vapor
Changing me into another
form of me.
It was inevitable as it always is.
Fighting it only makes one blind.
I implore...relax into the
Magnetic ether of the Mother.
