posticon Horn of Plenty Pitas

I don't eat olives but thought this a wonderful recipe and spell for those that do. I've been trying to think of something I could use in their place such as cherries.

HORN OF PLENTY PITAS

Among Mediterranean people, the olive was considered a precious gift, provided by the goddess Athena as a means of winning over Attica, which became Athens. The flavorful pita bread in this spell recipe provides a warm, cornucopia type womb in which to nurture your magick and combines beneficially with the opulent olives nestled inside.

Before enacting this sell, consider what kind of plenty you most need and then choose the color or type of olives accordingly. For example, use green olives for financial abundance, black olives if you want abundant foundations on which to build and secure your dreams, or Greek olives to preserve your abundance once it arrives. Or, blend all three types together for a combined effect.

You will need the following:
1 lemon
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon thyme
2 whole bay leaves
Pinch of salt
Pinch of freshly ground pepper
1/3 cup fine quality olive oil
1 cup olives your choice)
1 pound herbed feta cheese
12 Greek pitas (6-inch size)

Directions:
Slice the lemon into four wedges (four is the number representing sound groundwork). Repeat the following:

In the winds seeds are born. By the sun they are nurtured.
By the waters, nourished. By the earth, given roots.
So, too, give foundation to my magick.

Place the lemon slices with the garlic, rosemary, thyme, bay leaf, salt, pepper, olives and olive oil into a large container. Cover and refrigerate the mixture over the three days of the full moon (if possible; if not, a waxing moon will suffice). Each day at dawn (the time of hope); shake the olive mixture while repeating the following:

By the light of new day,
I claim my plenty and give magick its way.

On the third day, heat a ridged skillet on the stove on low. Brush each pita with a little of the olive oil mixture from the olives and warm it for 1 minute on each side. On each pita, crumble some of the feta cheese and place a heaping tablespoon of olives with a little of the liquid. Place the filling in the shape of a dollar sign to receive money, in the shape of a heart for love and so forth. Finally, gently wrap the bread, which protects and nurtures your abundance, around the mixture and consume expectantly. You should see some significant change in your situation within three days or a multiple of three days (nine days, twelve days, etc.)

Enchanting alternatives: Add diced grilled marinated chicken to the olive and cheese mixture in the pitas. Magickally, this creates energy for an abundance of health.
