Let the Good Times Roll Spell
The first Mardi Gras was celebrated on February 27, 1703 in Mobile Alabama (My Sweet Home Alabama).
Mardi Gras is the big party before the season of Lent and, as the Cajuns say, “Laissez les bon temps rouler.”
Gather together a piece of paper, a black pen, a necklace of shiny beads, rosemary, basil, and a small container or box with a tight seal or lock.
List all the things that hold you back from having a good time, including money worries, health concerns, or just time management. Write them down with concentration and intention.
Sprinkle the list with rosemary for intention.
Fold the paper and rosemary in half with the blank side facing out.
Write “BE QUIET NOW” on the outside and put it in the container.
Sprinkle with basil for strength and success.
Seal the container and place it on your altar.
Go and have a good time.
Remember to come back and deal with your list later. Right now, put on the beads and let the good times roll!
