Potions & Broomsticks will be closing.....
I know this comes as a shock,but over the last couple of months I've been doing a lot of thinking & analyzing the facts,and the facts are that this business venture has been costing me waaay more than what I'm making. To be honest,if P&B brings me app $40 a month,that's a good month. On top of that,the budget where I work part time has been cut in half & we've all been told that our hours will be cut-right now I'm lucky to get 2 days a week (along with my co workers) All in all, I feel like this is the Gods way of telling me I'm supposed to be doing something else. I've decided to go into a different genre,taking with me what has sold well. (jewelry!) I'll be posting what inventory I have left at discount prices,so this will help us both-I need to clear the stuff so I have more room. I will be keeping my account with Llewellyn,however so If you're needing 2010 annuals do PM me. I'm not saddened by closing the store but very relieved,to be honest. All of you have been great and I want to thank you for your support. I think this is the best Pagan auction site around!

The drivers lic hopefully will be in the next couple of months-my old permit had expired and I had to restudy for the written test. I passed it,only missing 1 question because I second guessed myself. I'm behind the wheel again,and I really need to work on parking. *laughs*
I'm very glad I've decided to pursue a new direction-not that I'm any less Pagan,but this just seems to fit me better. Sales aren't anything to scream about,but then the recession hasn't really receded yet. My mandolin is in the shop getting set up-it was in worse shape than I thought. Hoping to pick it up next week. I had a string buzz & chords that were fingered right sounded awful-turns out it needs a neck adjustment among other things. In the meantime I got my 6 string banjo out of storage & have been fingerpicking on that. Learning some ragtime stuff. I've been learning some Tibetan methods of meditation & it seems to help in an all around way with my day to day activities. Fall is coming,for which I'm grateful. I have enjoyed this summer more than most however (cept for the heat) Discovering I'm a farmgirl & getting out into the yard more. I will be adding to my thread here on selling soon!
