I enjoy the book look, it is just harder to see the red words on the red background. I just highlight the content in order to read that is all.
Thanks for the great job though.

the background is a cabernet shade of dark red and the writing for say "subject "will show up as the same tone but darker.
The tan background shows up wonderfully but I guess because it appears to be tone on tone to me with gradation of darker on medium, I can't see it as well.

I have also changed the main font to white. Some of the background is now changed from red to tan.
Does this help? I guess, I'm not seeing what you guys mean by red on red, but I am in firefox not IE so.. maybe that has something to do with it?
If these changes doesn't help I may just change the layout completely.
