Going away camping for a week.
Tomorrow we're off to Pennsylvania. We're renting a cottage, really cute, all amenities, and right on the lake.
Then Wednesday heading to upstate New York and tent camping for 2 nights near the Catskills.
In between we're going to Howe caverns (156 feet below the earths surface) which looks really kool!
I'll be taking pics.
So see ya's in a week or so.

I'm back home and wishing I wasnt. (definitely need to look into moving somewhere quieter).
We had a lot of fun. Even the 16 year old stopped brooding after the first day and actually joined in the fun. We did all the usual camping stuff, fishing, hiking, wiffle ball, mini-golf and lots of rest and relaxation.
I wound up deciding to change the plan to go to NY because the weather forecast there was bad and tent camping in the rain is just not fun. So no Howe caverns either. We'll just do that another time. But we did stay an extra night at the cottage.
It was without a doubt the nicest cottage I've ever stayed at and it was the same price as the little tiny 1 room, no bathroom, cabins at the campgrounds here in CT.
Definitely worth the 4 hour drive.
Of course the price of taking some time off is now I'm going to be super busy getting ready for the Renaissance faire that starts on the 18th, but I will be around a bit.
