My youngest son (40) and oldest grandson (16) and I ae leaving tomorrow to go check on my Mother. She is still on a ventilator and being fed through tubes although, my sister said she woke up for a while yesterday and though she can't talk, did seem to understand what was going on and what was being said to her. I am hoping she will know who I am. This will be a short trip and I should be back home next Thursday.

I know there are a couple bids on my items. I thank you to be patient with me and I will tend to those auctions upon my return.

Zonipa, if anyone should write to you that I am not responding to their messages or whatever, please explain and I will take care of them as soon as possible. There is an old computer at Mom's but whether I will have time or feel like getting on it is another thing.

Yawl send safe travel vibs this way and I hope I find my Mom doing better.

I am back in Alabama. I appreciate the vibes I got from you all. The trip went much better than me going along. My son did all the driving and gave me a shoulder to cry on when I needed it.

My Mom is definately dying. She is being kept alive by machines and tube fed through the stomach. I do not know how long that will last. I thought on Saturday night, that my Mom knew I was there for just a second. The rest of the time, it was like talking to a rock, absolutely no response what so ever. My sister has decided that love for my Mom is calculated by how many hours a day you sit at the hospital with my mother. It just tears me up to see her like she is. If I thought I was doing any good at all by being there or that she knew I was there, I would stay 24/7 but she does not and all it does is keep me upset sitting there and watching her. I came back hom with my son with my sister screaming something about if I left, she never wanted anything to do with me again. I have been very upset and stressed both mentally and physically.

Anyway, my son did all the driving. He is 40 and recently divorced. It gave us some much needed time together.

Guess I didn't mean to vent, was just letting yawl know I am home again.
