Hi all, needed a "little helpl from my friends" lol
Just feeling low and needed to chat with my 'family'. -- Things have been so chaotic and stressful here lately with a very, very long and exhausting move that lasted nearly all of April, then my husband having face surgery to remove cancer that we thought was going to be a simple procedure of taking a little slice off of each cheek, slap a bandage on and then go home; to find out he's in surgery all day for the one side, then in surgery all day the next day for the other side.
They literally took his face off on one side and moved his skin (face) over 5 cm toward the nose. So, basically his sideburns are now under his eye. At one point in the surgery they had his skin literally hanging off his face. I was in there as they let me scrub in and watch (the doc was fascinated by my being an herbalist/aromatherapist-or so she said, lol) - which my husband was grateful that I was in there and normally I have no problems with anything medically related or what others would consider gross, but I have to say that this sort of got to me.
I dealt with everything fine as we were going through it, but since, I have been horribly down. It takes an hour to do his bandages in the morning and at night, although that is getting better now as we are 9 days out of surgery. He's healing extremely well, they said better than somebody half his age, which is very good to hear, but I am exhausted. He's doing actually quite well and is restless and they did an amazing 'closing' job on his with plastic surgery and to be honest, he doesn't look that much different at all, so we are both grateful.
I am having the worst time in the world getting motivated to do work, or anything and just want to escape. My fibromyalgia is horrific right now and my nerves are shot. This is all probably pretty normal, right? I am probably not experiencing anything out of the norm that anybody else wouldn't be under the circumstances...right?
Thanks for listening guys. I just needed to talk. I miss you guys and I am slowly catching up on orders. Another six are going out tomorrow and then I am working tomorrow on finnishing some subscription kits and making a soap order and bath & body order which will go out Monday. I should be for the most part caught up then. Just finding it difficult to "care" about stuff.

It's 100% normal to feel down. You are taking care of everything, but yourself. Be sure to take some 'you' time... that way YOU will be up to taken care of things that need be.
Glad to hear hubby is doing so well. My thoughts are with you both.

keep your chin up morika, things do get better.glad to hear everything turned out good for your hubby. im gonna say a prayer for you both and hang in there. its good to let your feelings out and we are all here for you, take care friend

Thanks Tav, that made me feel a bit better, lol. I figured I probably am reacting normally; but darn, it's hard to get going. No motivation which I know is a tad of depression. I know it'll pass...thanks for the encouragement sis.

Aw...you're too sweet Aries. Thank you hun! I am actually doing much better today and have been in work mode and motivated for the first time since I've moved in this house.  By the way, we love where we're living now. I am trying to get lots of rest the last two days and will probably go to bed early again tonight. It's helping. Thank you all for your kind words.

I am happy that your husband is doing so well Morika. He actually has the best medicine in the world, you and your love.
I hope all gets much less chaotic for you and your husband. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
