question about sand

My daughter goes to Calif every year for her vacation. She can bring back buckets of sand. Does it need to be processed or something or can it be used as is? emoticon

Re: question about sand

The 'treatment' of sand depends on what you want to use it for. If using for lining in your incense bowls/smudge shells you can use as is. I use creek/lake/river sand all the time. More natural the better emoticon

....now if you are using for a child's sandbox I recommend purchasing it. This sand has been filtered and cleaned.

Re: question about sand

I was thinking along the lines of lining in incense bowls/smudge shells. Thanks Z!
