Ice Storm Pictures
Showing some of our bushes. We lost several.
See how the trees lean. This is how ALL the trees were. Last count 19 people died and 600,000 was out of electric.
It looks like snow, but all is ice. Snow arrived later that evening and we ended up with approx. 1" of snow on top of the ice.
We lost our Plum, 2 Maples, 2 Peach, and 2 Red Oak trees... we were lucky!

Wow! around me thats what it had looked like back in Dec. but I don't think our area got hit as bad. Its so sad that something that looks very beautiful is also so damaging.

Oh my, we got ice in Ohio but nothing like that! Ours was more like 13" of snow with an inch or 2 of ice. I'm so glad you and my other KY friends are okay. Sorry about the trees, bummer. Maples are so gorgeous in the fall. Nature is both beautiful and destructive.
