Candle starter kits

Does anyone know where I can get a good inexpensive candle starter kit? I really don't need like the double broiler and wooden spoons and Ect. I can find that stuff in my kitchen. Mainly looking for wicks Soy wax. Color chips maybe some instrutions and labels.

I really need to get started on some of my own creations. So I can bring some cash in. Plus I have all this stuff I need something to do with.. LOL ...

Thanks

Never purchased a kit. I basically started with 'odds and ends'.

You might try Mountain Rose Herbs... seems like they had kits at one time. Hobby lobby and places like that may have some smaller cheaper kits. Was you wanting a big or a small one?

Just a small one. So I could dabble. I will go take a look at hobby lobby. Didn't think about that. Have been looking on web. Most of them come with all the bells and whistles.

I found a few on Ebay. shipping cost where outragous though. Then agian 5lb in soy alone is heavy.

Yes, honestly, most of the time you are better off buying the starter pieces separate.
I know Wally world had a small one, but I don't know what all it comes with.

Candle Suppliers all are good for wicks, scents, supplies.

http://newcart.candlesandsupplies.com/Store/Products/Candles/Home/Default.aspx
Affordable, varied supply store. NEW Golden Foods GW464 Container Soy Blend - Per 50 lbs. - $.82 per lb = $41.23

http://stores.shop.ebay.com/CANDLECHEM-COMPANY__W0QQ_armrsZ1
Scents. This guy has tomato, bacon and pizza! $4.95 for 4 oz supplier and he combines shipping, giving you a discount. He's my favorite for scents. His scents are lighter/weaker? than the other suppliers. His soy wax is priced too high for me.

http://www.peakcandle.com/default.aspx
Peak Candle Supply
The scents are $2.50 an oz, but they have the best smelling quality oils, and scents the others don't have. The price per ounce goes down the more you buy of each scent. Great wicks for all size candles. Around $46.19 for 50 lbs of the soy I use, GW 444 Soy Blend Wax 50 lb. CASE.

Quality scents & wicks! But they stopped taking PayPal, only credit cards now. $1.99 an oz scent and $49.00 a 50 lb case of the soy wax. I use Golden Brands 464 Soy Wax or 444.

I've noticed they change their prices all the time, so I always check all 4 to see who has the lowest price when I need wax. They all have reasonable shipping, Peak is a little high as they use UPS only. Hope these help!
