I had fun today too. I normally do not get out of bed prior to one o'clock in the afternoon but found myself up by ten this morning to see if anyone wanteda trade. I did successful trades with Lilafae and magickalHappeningsAbound. To the couple others I did not trade with, I hope there were no hurt feelings. The only way any of us can make any money is for us to all have different taste and to sell our different wares.
Today seemed to be a way we could relax from the stress of trying to sell and actually shop to get something we want. After all, don't most of us sell so we can use the money to shop with outselves?
I'm with you ladies. If Zonipa will approve it, I think we should do this at least every other month for awhile.

I would have initiated trades but I have so much to do and my head is in such a fog.
Next time I'll get more involved.

Sorry, I was so busy this week & busy this weekend with the kiddos garage sale. Maybe next trade date I can announce it in the OA newsletter.
Just let me know FC on a date that sounds good to you for next month

I just wanted to say and I am only speaking for myself, but maybe others feel the same way, that if anybody would ever want to trade with me at any time, please don't feel like you have to wait for a trade day to do it. Just ask me.  I am always open to that. Bartering is a great way to work things out especially in slow times.
I do love the idea of an official trade day each month and think it will be great! Thanks FaerieChar for a great idea!! and, thanks to those who traded w/me!

It's great to trade from time to time, I just didn't want it to become habit.. as it's not mandated through the auctions.
An official trade day seemed like the best way to keep it at a minimum.
Now, don't get me wrong, posting trades here and there are great! I just didn't want it to become the 'main' thing in the forums/auctions... hope that makes sense.

Any day you choose would be fine with me, Zonipa. I picked the 4th this month because I am heading back to Oklahoma this next week and I wanted to take part before I left town again. A day during the week works best for me but that may not be the best day for others so whatever you decide, will be fine with us all. I am sure if business would pick up, we wouldn't need as many trade days.
Thanks for approving my idea. I think those of us who took part had fun.

I ended up with some really nice goodies..things I had been wanting for a while. Traded some of my bracelets and necklaces..was fun! Gives every seller a real chance in looking through all of their goodies and to meet other sellers. Again..it was fun and thank you to those who traded with me!
