Rockingham County
Rockingham County uses the AccuVote Edge optical scan voting machines. A write-in vote on these paper ballots requires physically writing the candidate's name ("FairTax" in this case) in the appropriate space, then marking in the corresponding lettered ovals with a #2 pencil or felt pen (available by request from the precinct attendants). I know this is a tedious exercise, so I speak on behalf of myself and over a million other FairTax supporters nationwide when I thank you for putting forth the effort for this cause.
Alternatively, under the Americans With Disabilities Act, voting precincts are required to have handicapped-accessible voting machines. If the above procedure seems a bit too much of a hassle (and I don't blame you), ask a precinct worker about the availability of an electronic machine.
Thanks, and please spread the word,
Brad Rees
