In my opinion the worse thing you can do to a sight like this is to allow discussions about politics or religion. It can cause the best of friends to become enemies. Just my opinion but I've seen it happen to many times.

That's why I don't allow either political or religious discussions on my site... emoticon

I've seen 'friendly' rhetoric kill sites...cause some things meant in fun by one person, can hurt another's feelings.
And scares newbies off.... emoticon

The political talk was already there and it was beginning to take over the whole board...I just created this place to try and keep it in one area. If I feel like it's getting out of hand, I'll get rid of the political board. So far, I haven't seen any problems. As Hit said, I think we know each other well enough to avoid that kind of crap...at least I'd hope so.
